  • How Does It Work?
    The PicoSure® laser uses concentrated energy pulses to break down tattoo ink into tiny dust-like particles. Our body’s natural immune system will send white blood cells to carry the particles away and the tiny ink fragments are then easily eliminated through our Lymphatic System. (Urine and Sweat)
  • Does it Hurt?
    There may be some pain & discomfort during the removal process however we aim to make the process as comfortable as possible. We utilize a variety of tools to minimize discomfort, such as the Zimmer Cryo 6 Ice packs.
  • How many sessions are required?
    This is completely dependent on the size and how recalcitrant the tattoo is. Other factors are clients life style, Medical conditions and the ability to eliminate toxins from the body. This is why is important to increase Water intake and daily use of Sunscreen.
  • What’s the difference between tattoo removal and tattoo fading?
    During the laser tattoo removal process, each treatment will target a different layer of the ink in the tattoo. When completely removing a tattoo, you will have to continue getting treatments to completely remove ALL the layers of ink. However, during the tattoo fading process not all layers of ink are removed, which also results in less treatments. The goal of tattoo fading is to fade the tattoo just enough to prepare it for a cover up.
  • What can I expect after a treatment?
    After a treatment one can expect some slight pain & discomfort and some temporary side effects, most of which are part of the body’s natural healing process. Some of the side effects may include redness, swelling, tenderness, blisters, scabbing, hyperpigmentation & hypopigmentation. Right after a treatment there will usually be a white frosting of the skin on the tattoo, this is completely normal and tends to subside within a few minutes. This may be accompanied by some redness, tenderness and swelling which usually subsides around a day or two after the treatment. Blisters tend to form within 24 hours of the treatment; however this is part of your body’s natural healing process. Never pick at them, as they will dry out and scab up on their own, and eventually will fall off within 10-14 days after the treatment.
  • How often will I need treatments?
    Every 6 weeks, Following the proper recommended post treatment aftercare, will likely improve your results and reduce your chances of any adverse effects.
  • Does the Laser burn my Skin?
    No, Picosure is a Photoimpact Laser. Meaning it hits the ink to break it into small particle with a speed of a trillion of a second, It dosent use any heat to do any treatment.
  • Will it hurt?
    There may be some mild discomfort during a PicoSure Focus Facial, but it is very minimal.
  • What can I expect after a treatment?
    There may be some mild side effects such as a sunburn like sensation, possibly accompanied by some minor swelling. This generally wears off after anywhere from 2 to 24 hours. Make sure to follow any post care protocols instructed by your practitioner, as this will also minimize and reduce any unwanted side effects and facilitate a more positive experience.
  • Is there any downtime?
    For most individuals there is no downtime with PicoSure Focusâ„¢ facials. You may experience some mild redness that typically resolves within a few hours, allowing you to return to your normal activities immediately after.
  • How does laser scar treatment work?
    Unlike surgery, laser acne scar treatments use ultra-short pulses of light to reach deep into the skin’s sub-layers, allowing it to effectively break down scar tissue and trigger the body’s natural healing process. Older, damaged tissue is replaced by healthy new tissue with fresh, new collagen and elastin—the crucial building blocks of healthy-looking skin. The scar becomes more even in color and texture and blends more naturally into the surrounding skin. It’s a fast and simple procedure that’s easy to tolerate and requires little-to-no downtime.
  • Does it hurt?
    This procedure is not particularly painful however there is minor discomfort right after treatment, however it is still tolerable on the skin.
  • What can I expect after a treatment?
    There may be some slight redness and swelling at the sight, however this subsides within a few days.
  • Is there any downtime?
    Aside from some mild redness, there is typically no downtime with this treatment.

Without these forms signed, we will be unable to perform the service. Forms can be downloaded from the downloads section of this page. - ALL clients are responsible for updating technician, of any medical conditions, medication, tanning, pregnancies, lactation etc. Prior every session.
